Plot summary

A rather lame postcard snap hiding the real

A rather lame postcard snap hiding the real abuse from sight. It also paints Franke as one of the victims of Hildebrandt's brainwashing when she was in fact a dreadful, abusive mother long before she met Hildebrandt. They fed off each others evil hysteria.

Absolute garbage, even for a Lifetime movie. Extremely skewed "ripped from the headlines" exploitation movie. Why Locklear said yes to this, who knows. Granted, she's had some very hard years; but this is despicable. A much better take would be FROM THE CHILDREN'S POINT OF VIEW. Disgusting.

It was a good overview of the story

It was a good overview of the story (as far as I know it), and the acting was very good, especially Heather Locklear as Jodi Hildebrand. I agree with them not showing the physical abuse of the children. However, I wish they had included more than one of Ruby’s diary entries , or eluded to them, since that was a big part of how she was convicted of felony child abuse.
