Plot summary

Morgan, an aggressive and self-admitted dreamer, a fantasist who uses his flights of fancy as refuge from external reality, where his unconventional behavior lands him in a divorce from his wife, Leonie, trouble with the police and, ultimately, incarceration in a lunatic asylum.

Warner gave everything he had to this performance and you cannot take your eyes off Redgrave whenever she's onscreen. Unfortunately the anti-establishment shtick is shrill right from the beginning and despite some funny bits about the Communist parents it all feels pretty tired.

Interesting. A little tiresome in the last scenes

Interesting. A little tiresome in the last scenes as it doesn't seem to know how it should end, but fun if you like this "Angry Young Man" 60s Dick Lester type film (or you are an Irene Handel, or Bernard Bresslaw completist).
