This depicts an aspect of the less, avoided and unknown to most of the human populace dark world of male prostitution, yet existing. It's just that it's mostly ignored and many turned a blind eye to its existence in the real society, unlike its female version. It also shows that their is no glamor, as most who are aware are led to believe, in the real life led by those who spend their years under its awning. It's actually a taboo way of life many are forced to live with for the lack of a better choice. And, as the film shows, as in real life, only a few will be able to leave that murk with their life intact and begin anew.

This film examines in a brilliant artistic way the psychological, social and material mechanisms that lead a man into the arms of prostitution. Profound work that caused a notable impact on its world premiere, unfortunately it has not had the distribution it deserves. Thank you Freeman for his always remarkable selections.
