Plot summary

Happy, beautiful and independent, Veronica enjoys being a mistress. No commitment, no strings and she never has to be vulnerable. She has carefully laid every brick in the walls of the fortress surrounding her heart. She's safe and having a great time. However, there is one person who knew her heart before those walls were erected, her best friend Brandon, who has stood by her for too many years to count. And while Veronica has tried to keep her feelings at bay, he is the one who holds the key that opens her Pandora's box of emotions.

Very REAL movie and betrayal of human foolishness

Very REAL movie and betrayal of human foolishness & self satisfaction, make it female. Veronica is showing how being the 'strong run' really isn't living in her truth. The male actor, Brandon, (actually all the males freely going out on their wives instead of learning or communicating..counseling!!) seem to show their extreme disrespect for female intelligent . Sad part is I've met plenty of men needing that ego stroke and so willing to have me listen intently to their every word... without a clue that I also may have the need to share. Yes, I'm single. I must be attractive enough because way too many married men have openly ask me if I'd be their mistress. It's disgusting really. Counseling is needed not jumping in to 'play the game over and over' again. I'm not to the end of the movie yet. Guess it is a very honest and real movie to me as it evokes all of this writing and emotion. I hope that Veronica is truly strong enough and true to her own self care to stop thinking Brandon is a close friend. He groomed her with friendship and "wondered" in conversation how Veronica could have sex but stay unattached. He was not open about his wife or live in women. But. ..he was not responsible for Veronica developing feelings . She should have backed off sooner. Boundaries...maybe that would be a good name for this movie. Platonic relationship is available. Boundaries must be made and kept honest to self and to others. He was wrong also. He saw a woman to play with and just added to his collection of self satisfaction regardless of when Veronica was honest that she felt more feelings than she wanted too. Great movie. Real to life and the human condition. seemingly emotionless female friend, Veronica, in order to satisfy his ego and notch in his belt if woman to collect.

This was a terrible movie. Seniors acting like teenagers. Did these people not grow up ? Not sympathic characters at all. Hope they never do a sequel.

Oh my god this movie was horrible! I've

Oh my god this movie was horrible! I've always thought that Jane Seymour was a bit of a narcissist but this takes the cake! I don't understand why she is so happy being a mistress and not getting anything from it. Why would you want to be some married man slut if you were going to get anything from it? And the music .... The music belongs in some teen flick, not in this movie! It just really seems like Jane was going over the top with this movie, wanting to still be seen as young and sexy.
