Plot summary

A poor girl falls for a wealthy young man. He invites her to his gala birthday party, but she doesn't have the right kind of dress to wear, so her family and friends band together to raise money to get her the proper dress.

Miss Annie Rooney is an okay film. It

Miss Annie Rooney is an okay film. It is about a poor girl who falls for a wealthy young man. Shirley Temple and William Gargan give decent performances. The script is a little slow in places. Edwin L. Marin did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the drama and romance.

Cute film starring Dickie Moore and Shirley Temple

Cute film starring Dickie Moore and Shirley Temple fresh out of their single digit years. Both were movie veterans by the time this film was shot with literally dozens of films between them. The movie is probably best known for Temples first adult onscreen kiss. Not a must-see, but still worth it's running time for a rainy afternoon escape to the past.
