Interesting history. MIranda has his first conviction set aside so Arizona tries him again without his confession and he was convicted again based on testimony given by his estranged common-law wife. He was sentenced to 20 to 30 years in prison. he was paroled after 5 years and four years later he was killed in a knife fight in a bar. The guy who handed the knife to the killer invoked his Miranda rights and refused to talk to police. He was released and was not charged in Miranda's murder. The guy who actually killed him was charged with the murder but fled the country to Mexico and has never been found.
