Plot summary

I hated this movie. It showed a lot

I hated this movie. It showed a lot of hate and yes that is what happens in real life. But what the fuck!!!! I mean they kick him off the team even though legally they can't yet still do. The moms boyfriend did it. And at the end they smile at each other as if they get back together and she's still not defending herself after her late husband cheated on her? This movie sucked!!!

A father who cheated on his wife and

A father who cheated on his wife and spent all of his son's college savings on buying his way too young lover a car. A mother who can't get the money back. A son who tries to deal with life with the ways he can but fails and absolutely nothing works out. I think I have never seen a movie that truly shows life as it is as this one does. This is not the typical movie where the main character gets all he wants. Also, he is gay and the movie did not focus on that at all. Most movies where the main character is gay, he is either coming out or kissing with other guys or having sex. Seriously, this movie shows real life, how thing really are for most people and that not getting what you want doesn't mean that this is the end for you.

Sweet movie with likeable characters, but the glowering

Sweet movie with likeable characters, but the glowering omission of how Miles finally got to move to Chicago ruined the story for me.
