The Witness, a remake of Korea’s Blind, presents

The Witness, a remake of Korea’s Blind, presents a gripping mystery through the eyes of Natsume, a blind woman whose testimony is dismissed due to her disability. The film stands out with its unique perspective shots, solid performances, and an unpredictable twist ending that challenges viewers’ assumptions. A standout moment is Natsume’s daring escape with the help of her intelligent guide dog—an emotional highlight that reinforces the film’s themes of resilience and underestimated strength. underrated japanese crime thriller!

A 2-hour long crime film that isn't boring? Yes please! The film started slow but as the story unraveled it got more and more intense and brutal... yes the japanese-style kind of brutal, and some of the scenes were extremely graphic so beware squeamish peeps! It kept us on the edge of our seats so overall it was entertaining film.
