Plot summary

Based on the best-selling book, Remember the Time: Protecting Michael Jackson in His Final Days, and told through the eyes of Jackson's trusted bodyguards, Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard. I watched Searching for Neverland as a response

I watched Searching for Neverland as a response to other documentaries about Michael Jackson, and I found it to be a more balanced and positive portrayal. Unlike more critical documentaries, this film presents Michael Jackson in a way that feels consistent with the many years I have seen of his performances, interviews, and public life. He comes across as a deeply kind, gentle, and caring person who genuinely loved people and children in a pure and non-suspicious way. Overall, I found this film to be a much-needed alternative perspective, and more aligned with the positive image I have formed of Michael Jackson over time.

I find surprising this film received this high

I find surprising this film received this high audience rating. As a long time MJ fan, it was rather disbursing and insulting to see Navi playing Michael.
