Puday_Connoisseur. Is that the first thing that came into your head. Maybe you need to get yourself checked out. Why not call this movie Jackson 5 because this has nothing to do with his solo career and no I actually wanted to see the scene where his nose falls off.
@donald78: Those scumbags of Sony Music are capable of anything! Originally RCA, they denied paying the royalties of FM radio the patens, invented by Edwin Howard Armstrong and dragged him into years of exhausting and expensive litigation by RCA, consequently Armstrong committed suicide in 1954.
It is actually very simple to understand if you look at what happened to MJ. The whole mess was instigated by Sony Music, which is corporate America. Sony wanted his publishing rights, but MJ did not want to sell. Because of that, they tried to destroy him financially so he would be forced to give them up. After they sabotaged his Invincible album so it would not sell as well as it should have, MJ still refused to sell. Then, they tried to destroy his public image by creating the Bashir documentary controversy and influencing the trial through connections with federal authorities. Even after his image was damaged, MJ still refused to sell. When MJ was attempting a comeback through the This Is It concerts to pay off his debts, he was killed by a corrupt doctor who was paid by Sony. Afterward, his will was forged so that his former lawyer, John Branca, who secretly worked for Sony, would be put in charge of the estate. Eventually, the publishing rights were sold, and Sony got what it wanted. In the end, Sony Music — corporate America — won, while MJ lost. That is the story.
What a load of rubbish. As soon as Micheal Goes Solo, it abruptly end. No Pepsi Ad, No Half Time Show. Nothing which we wanted to see about Micheal solo career. Just I'm solo now, film ends.
Pretty good film. I really liked how much time they spent on the preparation of and making of the Thriller video. Jafaar Jackson absolutely nailed the part.
