Plot summary

In the midst of a challenging season, Cody Miller learns that he's not the best pitcher—or the best teammate. Meanwhile, Cody's father John is losing to an unscrupulous lobbyist scheming to take over the family business. Both Cody and John think their only option is to fight on their own. It's not until they learn to rely on friends, teammates, and—most importantly—their faith and family that they discover that their battles can truly be won.

As much as Michael Bay loves explosions, as much as J.J. Abrams loves lens flares, Darren Doane must love slow motion even more. Clocking in at about 2 hours, the film probably would be 70 minutes long if very moment of slow motion was played at normal speed. This was incredibly frustrating things to watch. I had tried to finish the film twice before, only to give up. But momma didn't raise no quitter. I finally made it to the end, so you don't have to. But let me be kind for a moment. I love baseball. I love Tim Hawkins. I like Kirk Cameron. Mix those three things together, and you should have a winner, right? But Tim Hawkins is only given two, maybe three moments in the film to be funny. The rest is arguing with Kirk Cameron, most of which we either overhear from another room, or can't see their faces due to poor attempts at cinematography. Perhaps they can team up again sometime and show us what they are really capably of.

I hate this movie so much! It was cheesy, boring, and stupid. I would never recommend this movie to anyone.
