Plot summary

Candela, the headmistress of an elite school, after a traumatic divorce, returns to her old high school to lead a group of rebellious students through chess. There she will learn that in chess, and in life, it doesn't matter if you are a king or a pawn, because everyone ends up in the same box.

Me ha encantado, te puedes identificar con los personajes y son entrañables, además, tiene un gran desarrollo de personajes y un mensaje que nos puede llegar a todos, la única pega es que la trama puede ser predecible pero por lo demás me parece una película inolvidable.

It offers a few genuinely charming moments and solid performances, but it rarely moves beyond familiar territory. The story follows a well-worn path, and its moral message is delivered with a heavy underline rather than subtlety. Still, it’s competently made, briskly paced and easy to watch. Designed for broad audiences and family-friendly viewing, it succeeds in leaving a pleasant impression without aiming much higher. Entertaining and warm, though undeniably predictable.
