Even if you're not a big fan of

Even if you're not a big fan of the Avett Bros, this is a really well made documentary of two pretty humble, wonderfully talented musicians. The studio scenes show what artists these guys truly are and gave me some insight into what producer Rick Rubin is like. The behind the scenes looks at childhood cancer, their family lives, hanging out on the farm, etc. are awesome. Great musicians, well produced by Apatow. I've watched this 4x in the past 10 days. So well done.

I heard a podcast on the Adam Carolla

I heard a podcast on the Adam Carolla show with Jim Apatow and checked it out. Also was going to the Inning festival in Tempe Arizona so thought I would study up. The Avett Brothers were one of the bands that seemed like a lull for me at first. I felt like I got to know them more and now looking forward to the concert. The beginning and end were the strong points for me.
