This was a fun movie to watch with my young son who loves video games. Great cast too.

Enjoyed this nerdy, affectionately goofy, little romp a

Enjoyed this nerdy, affectionately goofy, little romp a lot more than I was expecting to. It doesn't hurt that I'm a die hard retro gamer and lover of fantasy in general, so it was right in my wheelhouse thematically. It's obviously not had an AAA budget lavished on it but its much more enjoyable, on its own terms, than many big budget movies I've seen recently. The talented cast all do well in their roles and there's a feeling of genuine affection towards the subject matter. It's currently showing for free on Pluto, so it would be daft not to give it a watch to see what you think.
