Until half, I found the movie to be

Until half, I found the movie to be bold, both visually and creatively. I loved the vibe, and although the cuts and transitions felt sloppy, I loved whatever they were trying to do. The music was nice. I absolutely loved loved loved Frida's costumes. There was an eerie beauty to the way it all unfolded. But then, it got heavily repetitive and infuriatingly boring, a try-hard to land several comedies which worked against itself. The story soon became very bland and the plot lost its novelty. They had run out of the cool content and were trying hard to compensate with laughies. The acting was exaggerated and to an extent it is understandable that it was how they wanted to do this, but even exaggeration has got its limits before it becomes a flumsy puddle of goo before the audience. The climax did end on a cliff-hanger but they could have cut short several junk scenes from this one and ended this mild torture. Still, absolutely admire the weirdness!

The future can be envisioned in numerous ways

The future can be envisioned in numerous ways and Krishand's vision of the future is sort of probable, given how humans are today. Masthishka Maranam presents a future where people are glued to their screens, everything is commercialised, and personalised ads literally feature your near and dear. And to top it all off, it shows how one behaviour of humans continues to thrive - the voyeuristic nature, the need to objectify women. There is a lot to unpack in this movie, and it demands multiple rewatches to notice and truly appreciate all of it. Kris Hand brings together all his frequent collaborators for his first wide theatrical release. Rajisha Vijayan makes her Krishand debut as Frida Soman, an actress who has had about enough of the voyeuristic world she lives in. Niranj Maniyanpillaraju plays Bimal and it's good to watch him carve his own niche.

Futuristic Movie, Different Concept

"Masthishka Maranam: A Frankensbiting of Simons Memories"A Movie set in Future Kerala 2046 Well maked movie.. CGI and VFX are so nice.. and it's a variety theme in Mollywood industry.. haven't seen a concept like this before in Mollywood.. This movie is so hollywood level making.. The story, making, concept, vfx, cgi everything.. But actually , Many people will not like this movie because of the theme.. Because most of the mallu people doesn't like these types of concepts..But for me it's a nice movie.. starting is a bit laggy.. Second half is so nice..And waiting for its sequel part 2 *" Masthishka Maranam 2: The Deconstruction of Robins Paradox"
