Plot summary

The most turbulent five years in the life of a genius woman: Between 1905, where Maria Skłodowska-Curie comes with Pierre Curie to Stockholm to be awarded the Nobel Prize for the discovery of the radioactivity, and 1911, where she receives her second Nobel Prize, after challenging France's male-dominated academic establishment both as a scientist and a woman.

I didn't know Marie Curie's story before this

I didn't know Marie Curie's story before this movie. This film wet my appetite to learn more about her and more about her discoveries. She was a passionate woman who lived her life to the fullest. The movie could have focused less on her personal love life and more on her discoveries and values. The movie is in French and often the subtitles are written in white lettering on a white background, difficult to see. Worthwhile movie!
