This whole movie is filled with the works of amateurs. It's depressing since this idea could have been made into a great sci-fi film. The IMDB description is only half right, since the "abuse she suffered" is never indicated in the movie. Maria Black is some top porn star in the story, so why would she have to suffer abuse? Now granted, some abuse happens later, but the transformation already happened. Plus, we don't know if it's really her.If you do plan to watch this, you will need to watch the scenes after the first 1/3 of the end credits. It explains a lot of important plot information that really needed to be part of the main story. This is how bad the film makers are, and the level of their inexperience and/or lack of movie making skill. Now granted, it sets things up for a sequel...which has a much better idea behind it, but I don't think it will see the light of day.The acting is barely average, with most of the cast being well below average. So many scenes have the characters doing stupid things, so that's the fault of the unskilled screenwriter...but they couldn't even act close to decent for most scenes. Line read upon line read that came out so badly, yet the director was okay with it. Again, amateur hour here folks. The soundtrack is only decent for a few scenes. Most of the time it's over blaring when it's not needed, or playing heavy metal to be edgy...when the scene didn't require it. Something a 12 year old would want if they were making a movie. The special effects are almost good. Not amazing, but also not horrible. One effect that was really damaging to the mood/scene was a glitch filter put over scenes where Maria is killing someone. Now, if you were seeing it through her eyes (think "Terminator") then it would work. Instead it's just added to make the scene look bad, and definitely doesn't add any type of coolness factor.Cinematography was close to average. Some shots in dark areas were bad, and certain angles were just distracting. The editing was also very hit and miss, with some scenes being edited in a way to be creative...but come across as trying way too hard to be different. The plot is only about 20 percent good. There is too much padding and inconsistencies throughout that really bog this movie down. A major lack of information as to why certain things are happening, along with characters doing ridiculous actions that shouldn't move the plot forward but it does. Also, some plot holes ruin the experience since it falls into that cliche of "It works for the bad guys but not for the good guys." or vice versa. There was a funny scene that deals with two sci-fi movies that I liked. It's a shame that this was the only highlight of the entire movie. Hopefully another studio makes a movie close to the premise of this one, but isn't controlled by a group of amateurs. Only watch this film if you are curious as to just how horrible it really is.

No pun intended - we get to see a woman (character) working for it ... or working it. But also working everyone in a sense ... there is a lot of morally questionable stuff happening ... including the use of a dead body that is as evil as can be.Now of course once the scene plays out there is a different ... depth to it. It cuts differently once you get why the scene was necessary ... doesn't make it good or acceptable for everyone. Just be aware of what you are watching. The cinematography is really well done - acting is a bit of mixed bag. Also it seems that some people at least in the English version I watched are being dubbed ... which makes it harder to follow. Action/stunts on the other hand, also really well done.
