Plot summary

Roger Willoughby is a renowned fishing expert, who, unbeknownst to his friends, co-workers, or boss, has never cast a line in his life. One day, he crosses paths with Abigail Paige, a sweetly annoying girl who has just badgered his boss into signing Roger up for an annual fishing tournament.

Una película absolutamente genial. La he visto ya

Una película absolutamente genial. La he visto ya 8 veces y me sigo riendo igual que la primera vez. Un Howard Hawks absolutamente genial recordando a La Fiera de mi Niña y unos intérpretes en estado de gracia con un Rock Hudson impagable. En resumen una obra maestra de la comedia. Absolutamente recomendable ?? Se me olvidó añadir que después de ver las críticas de algunos especialistas en cine veo que tienen el gusto cinéfilo en el trasero.

Seems a little bit out of fashion and

Seems a little bit out of fashion and political correctness but the jokes are overdrawn in a way they are more sophisticated as the audience regognize them. Hawks comedies always have a bitter untertone which has to be rediscovered. Of this story male and female characters both coming out badly.
