Plot summary

A genetic research facility worker exposes animal abuses there to a local TV reporter, who frees and takes in a genetically altered dog from the lab, unaware that he has a violent streak.

Got suckered in by the cover of this

Got suckered in by the cover of this trash-heap of a movie. My first thought seeing the movie cover as a kid, was thinking that this was a terminator dog, and it's going to be awesome. But the movie was nothing like that at all. To compact all this trash into a nutshell would be to phrase it like this. Some reporter breaks into a science lab somewhere that does weird experiments on a dog that gave him the claws of a tiger, clocking ability that the predator would be jealous of, and the jaw lining of a python as an excuse to watch a dog devour a cat. (spoiler alert: This was the only reason why this movie was made, to watch a dog eat a cat.) Also this dog can also pee acid strong enough to melt a guy's break lines but somehow impregnate a female collie dog. The end.
