Plot summary

The little swift Manou grows up believing he's a seagull. Learning to fly he finds out he never will be. Shocked, he runs away from home. He meets birds of his own species and finds out who he really is. When both seagulls and swifts face a dangerous threat, Manou becomes the hero of the day.

Underrated movie. Bird designs are adorable and the animation is amazing, like this right here is Pixar grade animation coming from some random low budget studio. Go support this film and this studio! They really do have talent

The animation is beautiful and in my opinion

The animation is beautiful and in my opinion rivals Pixar on how good it looks. The only problem I have with the animation is the rats are completely hairless. And the rats don't talk, I know they're the villains but why are they just mindless monsters? Plus using the birds indigenous to the area. But the biggest issue is the pacing. It's slow, especially in the middle of the movie. But overall, it's a cute little bird coming of age story with great animation and mostly likable characters. Find it at the Dollar Tree, get it.

I'm giving this a 6.5/10. It wasn't the most polished movie, with weird cuts and fades and unbalanced audio... But! It was a cute story and the animation was surprisingly well done. Solid movie for kids, I'd say.
