Plot summary

Francisco was building a luxurious house in Mexico where a fatal accident caused the death of his brother. When Francisco learns that his widowed sister-in-law will not receive a compensation from the opulent owner of the house, he will seek justice.

Francisco’s tragedy is the tragedy of the proletariat who, in attempting to expropriate what belongs to them by right of sweat, ends up replicating the boss’s power structures. It is a film about the impossibility of utopia when the individual hasn't killed the foreman they carry within. It is a vital lesson on the failure of municipalism and social ecology. La tragedia de Francisco es la tragedia del proletariado que, al intentar expropiar lo que le pertenece por derecho de sudor, termina replicando las estructuras de poder del patrón. Es una película sobre la imposibilidad de la utopía cuando el individuo no ha matado al capataz que lleva dentro. Es una lección vital sobre el fracaso del municipalismo y la ecología social

It starts with a very realistic argument, but

It starts with a very realistic argument, but the last half changes completely the direction. It left some open points at the end.
