Plot summary

Incredibly grim, even for a cannibal movie. It's got the typical bad dubbing, that some won't be able to get over. But it's one of the better entries into this genre. Helped by its unique fusion of cannibal film and mass religious cults. It sure is one of the gorier of these films. Animal lovers should probably stay far away though.

The acting ranges from passable to laughable, and

The acting ranges from passable to laughable, and the writing doesn't do them any favors. However, the gorier scenes that tend to characterize these gruesome exploitation flicks is shockingly effective and quite unsettling. I'd recommend it for those sequences alone.
