original was way better, it felt like a nice story of girls having an apartment together and doing stuff together, thats just another teenage story, without humor ... can companies please stop using IPs for creating movies based on these, which have nothing to with the original IP? Its just the Name.
The original was a subpar attempt at a female-led American Pie knock-off, mostly consisting of a series of cheap gags without any coherent narrative. Let's hope this one does a better job.
What? A remake? I'm going to proceed with this one with caution. The original film is so dear to me. Check it out, unless you think movies from the 00s are hopelessly old-fashioned. Billed as "Girls on Top".

Honestly, a step up from the original. The plot actually makes sense, and the three main characters have genuine chemistry thanks to the convincing performances from the talented young cast. Plus, the addition of a sapphic subplot and stronger feminist themes just makes the whole thing even more satisfying.
