Australian audiences often judge homegrown films before they’ve even seen them. The real challenge for Australian cinema isn’t winning over the world—it’s winning over Australia. Have we become so conditioned by American content that we don’t give our talent a chance? It feels like high school, where popularity decides who gets noticed. On top of that, Australian films don’t have the same budgets as Hollywood, making it even harder to compete. Our industry is rich with talent and unique stories, but audiences often look past them, opting for bigger productions. The real task is convincing Australians to embrace and support their own because the talent is right here—waiting to be seen. Is LOVE YOU LIKE THAT perfect...NO! But it was fun, heartfelt and I walked away happy. Isn't that what film is meant to do? I enjoyed this film and congrats to the director and the whole cast and crew. I hope to see more.

Awful movie. Starts off well, but turns into

Awful movie. Starts off well, but turns into a stupid movie with a completely unrealistic premise, and very poor acting. It has a stupid gay story line that sets up as a straight story line with a bait and switch. The main characters only grab you because they are attractive , but the supposed love interest turns out to be his immortal mother. ? The side characters are either ridiculous caricatures or utterly wooden. Beware the make out scence between the obese woman and the awkward cop. Disturbingly gross. This movie is an absolute waste of time, and undermines the efforts of Australian filmmakers to be taken seriously on the world stage.

I really liked it. I thought it was

I really liked it. I thought it was an original idea. Won't spoil it for those yet to see it. Surprising twist at the end..only thing that was lame was using love is in the air as the ending song. Could have been bigger n better but a cute aussie film..what can I say..'All you need is love'
