Plot summary

I really wanted to like this movie

I really wanted to like this movie - it had no plot and was just a series of little vignettes that didn't tie themselves together or even make sense. I was very disappointed. I would not recommend seeing this; don't waste your time

I watched this movie because it had a 73% positive rating on rotten tomatoes. It was a series of overdone cliches. The lead actress plays Ruby well, although the character is extraordinarily annoying. The other roles are overplayed caricatures. The story is inane. I'm no prude but the sex in this film seems gratuitous and adds little to the plot. I've never written a review before but thought I should put this out there since the ratings are obviously skewed in one direction.
