Plot summary

A fly-on-the-wall documentary film crew follow Alex, a hopelessly romantic, rom-com obsessed virgin on a quest to find love. Alex quickly finds himself out of his depth when Lana, a Moldovan mail-order bride he met online makes the bold decision of moving to London to marry him.

Love Possibly is a scrappy, sweetly offbeat romantic mockumentary that gets a lot of mileage out of its awkward sincerity and sharp comic timing. What starts as a cringe-comedy setup gradually reveals real warmth, with Steve Hodgetts giving the film an endearing center that keeps the whole thing charming even at its most uncomfortable. Its low-budget edges show, but the film’s sincerity, wit, and affection for its oddball characters make it easy to root for.

This movie is a fun and wild ride all the way through. The acting is spectacular and the awkwardness of the humour is cringe-worthy in the best way. Worth the watch!

This was quite interesting actually. It was like watching a more detailed and complicated version of 'Love on the Spectrum'. I liked that it was filmed like an amateur movie, it gave the intended atmosphere right.
