I regret having to say it, but this

I regret having to say it, but this movie is awful. The best thing about it is the stunning scenery. The cast is ok but zero chemistry. The story could have been very good if there had been any adventure at all, but there was none. But the worst is the dialogue. It is SO phony, and SO boring, it seems a ten year-old could have written it better. It is seriously not up to Hallmark standards.

The writing seemed to get too bogged down

The writing seemed to get too bogged down in background and peripheral information, resulting in flat characters and a tedious plot. It tried too hard to be a documentary within a rom-com and couldn't do either.
