Plot summary

Ex-football star Mike Gambril meets Terry McKay on a flight to Sydney, which is forced to land on a small atoll. They become romantic on board a ship sent to take them to a larger island. They agree to meet in New York three months later to see if the attraction is real. One shows up but the other doesn't. However, a chance meeting brings them together again.

"Love Affair" starring Warren Beatty and Annette Benning was the worst version of the 1939 movie "Love Affair". The characters - Mike Gambril and Terry McKay - are simply unlikeable. They also take time celebrating on cheating off their relationship and then suddenly found love upon meeting each other? Worst, it was also a celebration of lust especially that of Mike Gambril whose character is basically a celebration of Warren Beatty's playboy persona. It was simply a movie to forget.
