Just like The Tribe it had some potential

Just like The Tribe it had some potential ideas but ends up being the furthest thing from a possibly entertaining vampire movie and again I ask was Cory apart of creative ? Because again that would explain a lot such a waste of potential

This was to vampire movies what Superman IV

This was to vampire movies what Superman IV was to Superman movies. I actually thought it was worse than Lost Boys 2, despite being bigger and more visually entertaining. The vampire lore of the first movie has been completely stomped to death by this point, where humans can easily overpower vampires hand-to-hand. Edgar Frog has completed his ninja training and is now a katana master (that is sarcastic btw). And the vampires, especially the females, are so ineffective, so focused on being sexy, so useless in a fight, that you gotta ask how they have survived as long as they have. It also suffers the everyone-is-a-vampire trope, like Blade with the nightclub, or Van Helsing, where Dracula had hundreds of vampires at a ball. At that rate the entire world would be vampires in a week. I had to see The Thirst because I am so in love with the Lost Boys lore that I'll take anything. But as it turns out this movie gives us less than nothing. Some nonsensical plot about vampire blood becoming a designer drug. And the vampires carefully making sure not to accidentally kill the good guys until finally all the vampires are dead. Dumb dumb dumb.
