Plot summary

In 60s Extremadura, Paco el Bajo and his relatives work during day in a farmhouse, and silently suffer submission to their masters, who exploit them and treat them almost like animals. Meanwhile, Paco dreams that one day his children will be able to study.

Probably the worst Spanish-language movie I have ever

Probably the worst Spanish-language movie I have ever seen. About a retarded dude and his love for birds. Had no idea what was going on most of the movie, could not empathize with the "impoverished sharecroppers" at all. Also, the soundtrack was incredibly annoying.
