So, if you thought the cassowaries from down under are bad, take them to New Zealand, crossbreed them with crows and you get something that was...actually quite creepy. Even though the film felt like a Temu version of The Ritual at times, it was pretty good and I genuinely liked it. The monster bird reveal was also a lot less laughable than I was expecting and it was a fairly original idea. 6/10

No Thanks

Don't believe all those wankers, this is a very good movie.

This was very disappointing. It started off well enough, with good acting and a decent set-up. Plus, there were a couple of suggestions of tensions to come. But it wasn't till 75 min in before anything actually happened and by that time I was not only bored but I'd come to seriously dislike both main characters. But when the monster turned out to be something akin to a 6' bird (Big Bird but not in yellow, that was running around killing any and all humans. Then there was the unasked question of how this creature or creatures and their eggs managed to all of a sudden appear in these well-used woods. On top of everything else, it had a lousy ending. Ech. 4/10.

It's a bit slow but hard to believe Thomas Sainsbury who directed and was the lead role is a comedian. You can really feel his anxiety and dread in this movie. I wouldn't watch it on loop but it's worth a watch.

Guys its almost new year please give accurate reviews too much blahblal

Horror movie alaway in dark film and even hardly see the monsters waste of time to watch.

liked it
