I still stand by this criminally underrated Vegas

I still stand by this criminally underrated Vegas comedy, drama and I just saw it again and I still stand by it. This is one of the best Vegas and gambling movies ever made, easily top 3. This is one of Jon Voight and Burt Young's best performances. I like the rambling plot; the supporting cast and also Ann-Margret looks gorgeous! Do not read the reviews (except mine), see this if you love Vegas movies.

No wonder Jon Voight never did another screenplay

No wonder Jon Voight never did another screenplay ever again...this is like a first SUPER rough draft of a Heist movie done while half asleep. The music is the best thing...and it's bad. It's barely used outside of a handful of scenes and isn't anywhere near enough and it's so out of place. Everything else man is horrically bad. The dialouge (even though this came first) is trying to be like a Quintin Tarintino movie and it never comes close. The dialouge is so meandering, unclear, nonstop, unfunny, and sometimes I just don't know. It makes it so you can barely tell anything about the characters involved because most scenes it's them talking so if you don't understand what there talking about your lost most of the time. It took all my brain power to put together the basic premise there in debt and trying to rob the casino. I should'nt have to feel like I'm doing a research paper to figure out the basic premise of a heist movie. It feels like stuff just happens despite for the most part being focused on Voight. I don't get the love interest, The guy who has the heart attack, the plot twist of him surviving, I truly don't. The climax was just a whole lot of nothing and it feels like the whole film was completely pointless because they don't even pull off a heist the other guy gets it. It's just stuff happening like chases, fights, shows, love triangles, and it never adds up to a cohesie story. On top of that the Ashby touch is almost completely lacking. Save for the bathroom stall scene which was a glimmer of Ashby. The setting is nice, the camerawork is alright, and the actors got some chemistry. It's just I have no idea what there talking about or how it all adds up. Skip this

This one is BAD. It's very slow paced

This one is BAD. It's very slow paced The most memorable thing is that you get to see Angelina Jolie in her first acting role at the age of 7. I did like the the last 20 minutes, but the rest of the movie sucks.
