I finally got used to Kate Winslet speaking

I finally got used to Kate Winslet speaking with American accent, she was great in this movie. I appreciated the way the story was told, honestly it felt like reading a book especially with the narration which was a nice touch and had its charm. I don’t really know what was with the sound… sometimes it felt like the mic man was way too far from the action scene, I know for a fact that no mics were on the actors, it would’ve sounded differently. The ending was a bit underwhelming, I liked the way it ended but sometimes I wished the camera stayed focused on the actors a bit longer throughout the whole movie. Which leads me to believe that the production could’ve been better, but overall it was worth a one time watch.

Filme mais ou menos, o roteiro é fraco, a história é fraca, o elenco é bom mas só os protagonistas ajudam a melhorar o filme, as cenas são mais ou menos, mas as cenas do casal dos protagonistas são boas, e até melhoram o filme, mas não conseguem fazer o filme ser bom, que poderia ter cenas melhores e relevantes.

Too dumb to finish. I can review the first 15 minutes though. Very awkward and unrealistic. For some reason, a strange voiceover narrator that made it sound more like the twilight zone. Actors sat unnaturally together on a bench talking to each other shoulder to shoulder. I was not even mildly interested in finishing this movie once two absolute strangers with children kissed each other in the park. What?? I shut it off.
