Plot summary

During a stormy night in the Scottish Highlands, two criminal brothers on the run seek refuge in a desolate farmhouse. But after taking the resident family captive, they find the house holds even darker secrets of its own.

Not too bad a thriller (it really IS NOT a horror as suggested here), with an interesting twist. Joely Richardson really carries the movie with a committed performance.

Once I got over implausible recovery to wound

Once I got over implausible recovery to wound of on of main characters. It kept a good pace and plot shifts .Genuinely twisted in tone. Lead definitely has perfect menace. Audio appalling. Subtitles bizarre, literally had to guess dialogue at times
