Plot summary

Life in the Doghouse tells the inspiring story behind Danny & Ron’s Rescue, a dog rescue centre. Started by life partners Ron Danta and Danny Robertshaw, the two men were moved to act after Hurricane Katrina left thousands of dogs stranded and abandoned. The two men set up a makeshift dog sanctuary in their home and ten years later they have housed and rescued over 10,000 of these furry babies.

This is a must see, especially if you're

This is a must see, especially if you're a dog lover! It's an inspiring documentary about Danny and Ron's Rescue to see behind the scenes of all the work they do to save dog's lives. I also really enjoyed the backstory of their personal background and love story, it's truly special.

This movie is a MUST SEE for all

This movie is a MUST SEE for all humans who interact with dogs and cats (mostly dogs). Danny and Ron are heroes in the dog rescue (and horse riding) world. This first hand account of the need to rescue animals, especially due to the lack of responsible spaying and neutering of animals, is not only important, but a loving story of two humans who have made a difference in this world. They are a shining example to all. Thank you, Ron and Danny!
