Plot summary

Let Go and Let God follows two people from vastly different worlds whose lives are rocked after experiencing sudden deaths in their family. They question God as a result, but find the faith they're looking for on an unexpected path.

This movie had such great potential. Story line

This movie had such great potential. Story line was good. The characters weren't developed as good as they should have been. So we were left wondering if too much had to be left on the editing floor. There was a mysterious young female who talking to the son, John in the field, but we never found out who she really was. I have my suspicion that it may have been the daughter of one of the main characters, but that was never brought full circle. The mom of John was at the graveyard at the end and it was a terrible end scene because there was a surpirse plot twist regarding the marriage of John's parents minutes before the end of the movie. There was no indication of that throughout the whole movie, and it didn't really tie into anything. The acting was sub par, but the sound quality was not good. There was a narrated part where a women's voice was reciting a poem or lyrics, and you cannot make out what all she is saying because the music is louder than her voice. They talked about praying in the movie, but never prayed.

Makes no sense at all

Worst Christian movie I've ever seen. Horrible cinematography and camera angles. No point is ever made. Just loose threads and horrible acting. You have no idea where the story is going and why. Just terrible.It is so unbelievable non Christian. Just Bible verses that are irrelevant to what they're talking about. We stopped watching a half hour in it was so bad.And how is the man a pastor if he doesn't believe in god? A little back story to how his daughter died and then a back story to the cop that died before would help. Background noise wasn't even cut out either. And then ominous music like it's supposed to be scary. I wasted an hour of my life on this.

Unbelievably bad

My Life Group agreed this is the worst movie we have ever seen and will ever see. Makes next to no sense. Has more loose threads than a cheap rug. We laughed ... because it was so bad. We could not figure out the ending. I think they just quit filming. And speaking of filming, it looks like the cameraman was a ten-year-old.
