Plot summary

Isaac has seen better days. His acting career is tanking, his blind girlfriend of 10 years plans to leave him, and his own family singles him out as a constant disappointment. This is a weird, awkward comedy that's more of a series of skits than a film with an actual plot. Some are quite funny (the seder); all are awkward to the max. There's a large amount of long shots and long takes here, so there's also a real artistry to the film.

The movie suffers from a boring trajectory and mediocre acting but the script is formidable and regardless of their surroundings Greer and Gelman pull off an awkward and fascinating take on a disgruntled couple. Is it worth a watch? Certainly not. But it leaves you thinking as well as laughing
