"We're home." "We are home." A house is not a home, but anywhere can be a home if you're with the people you love. ?

260306 (2.8) The cute puffins are a highlight, especially when the Duke of Weselton's obsession with foot color turns him into a lego-breaking menace. Elsa and Kristoff, who were both suffering under the pressure of tradition-bound courtiers, actually find the chaos a blessing in disguise-it gives them the perfect excuse to rebuild! And watching someone scream, "At least give me back my last shred of dignity!" in the middle of it all is absolutely hilarious. It's a lighthearted take that reminds us that while a structure is just a house, the people you share it with truly define what it means to be home.

Lego Disney Frozen: Operation Puffins is a new special based on the hit animated film Frozen and is a Lego TV special telling a story set after the events of the first film.In this special, Anna welcomes Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven as residents of Arendelle Castle, while Elsa is trying to get used to her new role as queen due to the traditions she has to follow (which also affects Kristoff due to how he lived). However, the heroes soon confront a new problem, as puffins are tearing the castle apart, with Elsa being flown back to her ice palace, all a plot by the Duke of Weselton to get revenge on the heroes for causing his banishment.Watching this special, it's a bit meh. First off, Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf do not have their original VAs, and are instead voiced by the VAs they have for video games like Disney Dreamlight Valley and Disney Speedstorm, and they can be hit or miss (Jake Green as Olaf made the snowman sound like he has a sore throat, as the voice lacks the energy Josh Gad gave him). Also, I call it a short because it's only a little over 16 minutes long, which does not give the film enough time to develop its story. While the animation is great, and the story has a good moral, it is not a good one in my book.

Let it LEGO... for the Kids.

LEGO Frozen: Operation Puffins follows Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Sven as they set out on a new adventure to save their home from a returning villain. This film is clearly aimed at younger audiences-but I still found a few things to enjoy. The animation is bright and charming, the characters' quirky behavior made me laugh more than once, and the callbacks to the original Frozen films were a nice touch. Plus, I appreciated the heartfelt message that "home is where your family is."It's worth noting that none of the original voice cast from Frozen or Frozen II return, except for Alan Tudyk reprising his role as the Duke of Weselton (and he's great as always). Still, the new cast does a solid job: Danielle Bisutti (Elsa), Abby Trott (Anna), Matt Lowe (Kristoff), and Jake Green (Olaf) all deliver performances that blend well together and sound close enough to the originals for kids to not notice the difference.Overall, LEGO Frozen: Operation Puffins is definitely a children's movie. Kids under about 8 or 10 will probably love it, but older kids and adults might not find much to hold their attention. For me, it's a 5/10-fun in parts, but mostly for the little ones.
