Plot summary

Two college students driving coast to coast are lured off the main highway and onto a deserted Texas road where they are stalked by the menacing Leatherface and his family.

Overall a “good” “classic” 90’s scary movie! Primal

Overall a “good” “classic” 90’s scary movie! Primal embedded fear played on going off the beaten path, down a desolate road; only to find a psycho inbred family whose macabre lifestyle is sustained through isolation, murder, and meat! The star of this 3rd install is much scarier, stronger, faster, and he even drives(nice addition). More could have been done to take it to a higher level as other great horror films, as you’ll find watching more current installments! Leatherface is a lock for my top 4 slasher killer icons so this definitely had those moments that made it a fun one! Growing up in the 80’s, this film made the cut for me and most kids by playing to more realistic than over the top goofiness(pt 2). It did have minor falts such as oops I fell with a killer on my heels shtick; but I liked it!

In my opinion, TCM 3 is one of the seriously underrated sequels in the horror genre. It punches above its weight in acting with likeable characters, and adds an action element to the series which fits in well and makes the movie feel fresh, while still retaining tension and delivering on the gore.
