What a beautiful movie! The animation is absolutely breathtaking. The story is powerful and well told. The music is great too! This movie is spectacular and a must watch for anyone!

prime, R6.10.19 谷口ジローも作者の一人とのこと。 深町は当初、登山家の写真を撮ることにやりがいを感じでいなかったようだった。 羽生のあとを追ううちに羽生のエベレスト南西側単独登山を見届けたいという思いも超え、登山自体に取り憑かれたようだった。 マロリーのエベレスト登頂の真偽は描かれなかったが、そこは重要ではなかったのだと思う。羽生の最後の言葉でも語られていたが、生きる意味、登る意味を明確に見出せない中で、ただ登ることによって生きているというのは案外リアルな感じがした。 まあまあ面白かった。こういう落ち着いた語り口のアニメは好きかも。
