Plot summary

In a world hit by a wave of mutations transforming humans into animals, François does everything he can to save his wife. As some of the creatures disappear into a nearby forest, he and their son Émile embark on a quest that will change their lives forever.

It’s a sad telling when humans can’t comprehend

It’s a sad telling when humans can’t comprehend something that is new and different. This heartbreaking movie shows exactly that. But in spite of all this the father shows True compassion and humanity. Special effects is good and a fresh story.

I just watched this great film by pure

I just watched this great film by pure chance on the Italian TV (dubbed in Italian). No surprise it was one of the Cannes film festival productions. It can appeal both those who like fantasy films and those who prefer psychological ones. A strange event touches both a local community and a family. The two main character acting is superb. The film greatly portrays the feelings and human relations amongst teenagers, bullying, love, growing up, son / parents relationship, abiding (or not) by the society rules and laws...
