Plot summary

Every year the Prime Minister has a list of all kinds of troublemakers eliminated in the name of the famous Reason of State. Serge Shuster, Special Adviser to the President of the Republic, finds himself on this list, better known as the Matignon List. Condemned to certain death and at the heart of an implacable plot and a state secret that also put his family in danger, Serge, his wife and children have only one hope left - their gardener, Léo, who hates it when « slugs » invade his garden... Especially those that want to kill innocent families.

It's a typical slapstick comedy with some action

It's a typical slapstick comedy with some action scenes and a few fights. It was interesting to watch in the original version (in French) and see how the eternal master of martial arts is still delivering his kicks, spins, and flying kicks. It's worth watching for some nostalgia and for the actor, who at almost 70 years old, is still in shape and active.

I grew up a huge Van Damme fan

I grew up a huge Van Damme fan, still a fan and I gave this a chance due to the re teaming from the director of "The Last Mercenary" and Van Damme for this film and I had a blast watching this one, yes the movie had it's flaws and all but if your a Van Damme fan and you want to watch a movie to where he looks to be having the time of his life making this film, give it a chance as it may surprise you, or it may not. If your looking for that next Oscar winning film then turn away now, if your looking for a fun watch then give it a go. Bravo to Mr. Van Damme, it is still nice to see that he is still making movies regardless.
