A just released film call "Living" sounds similar to this movie but have not been able to see "Living" yet. There's no mention of any connection between the films. "Living" is a remake of the 1952 Japanese film Ikiru. Last Holiday precedes that film by two years. Does anyone know if Ikiru/Living was inspired by Last Holiday? In any case, I do recall I enjoyed Last Holiday and hopefully can see it again. A 2006 film called Last Holiday is loosely based on on the 1950 film.
