Plot summary

When the little haberdasher Arras discovers she's won 18 million in the lottery and can now afford anything she wants, she has only one fear: losing the small joys of life made simple it cherishes above all. A movie that examines wishes, desires, what ifs, and what to do if one actually wins the lottery but loses a lot more of what's truly valued.

Great idea- a shop owner wins the lottery

Great idea- a shop owner wins the lottery, and is afraid to tell anyone about it because she loves her life as it is and doesn't want anything to change. Some of the acting was swell, some just adequate, The script falls apart at the end and instead of being enigmatic, it's just done. Loved the scenes of the store and its customers, though.

a story that reminds us of our human condition and in the end, the happiness that we crave cannot be satisfied by â?¬18M alone. I enjoyed the friendship of the three women.
