Plot summary

A seagull is caught by the black tide of a sinking petrol ship. She manages to fly inland and falls down in a garden by a cat. Moribund, she asks the cat to fulfill three promises: that when she lays her egg he must not eat it; that he must take care of it until it hatches; that he would teach the newborn how to fly.

I must say when your a little girl

I must say when your a little girl watching this movie it truly is a fantastic adventure I'm trying to find it now to have as a keepsake forever. I was definitely into cartoons and adventure but this had a whole new twist growing up. I loved it.

An incredible tale, that will warm your heart

An incredible tale, that will warm your heart all the way through. I genuinely wonder why this movie didn't take off in the United States, it has all the great animated movie components that Don Bluth and Spielberg held at the time this aired in the US. If you can find it, it is a must see! In our home it is considered a classic.
