This film is absolutely overwhelming. It is not

This film is absolutely overwhelming. It is not at first easy, both by the subject and by the treatment. Jaubert's music is great for this intimate view of death. Truffaut plays his character in a way that can be confusing, but you have to get carried away by the images and the very special lights.
