This is more unrealistic than Star Wars or Star Trek combined and like those two series I enjoyed this also. Musashi puts himself in some of the craziest situations and positions. I'm no Samurai myself (daaah) how long did they rehearse before they shot? If you pay attention in the beginning when the fighting begins, you can see the shadow of the camera man on the ground. Overall I found it entertaining enough to watch.

The only reason this is getting half a star is for the ending, that’s literally it. The entire film was just a bunch of idiots spamming the same 3 moves over and over again and Musashi kills them. The sad part is, this film has a place in cinema history now for being the first to do something this ambitious. If you are a Cinephile or just have insane tolerance don’t watch this garbage. Almost no story to speak of also. He also just keeps finding water and food laying around, like everywhere? And when he is tired no one attacks to take advantage of him during a moment of weakness??? THESE ARE NNOT WARRIORS. This movie is unironically a disgrace to my eyeballs and anyone else who has the misfortune of watching this. .5/5 stars, if I could give it a -1 I would.
