Indonesian folk horror that has great pace, tension

Indonesian folk horror that has great pace, tension, and scares. Some excellent performances (by supporting actors), however, the main characters are slightly annoying/uncharismatic; the side characters, story, and pace carries the film. The movie has the low-budget charm of classic Asian ghost stories. Hits all the expected tropes and scares.

Kuyang is boring and lame. Very slow paced

Kuyang is boring and lame. Very slow paced and not scary. The movie failed to generate any excitement, atmosphere or thrills. There are many good Indonesian horror films, but this is definitely not one of them.
