Plot summary

Based off of the novel, "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King" and the ballet, "The Nutcracker", Sanrio shows their take on the classic story in a stop-motion animated film.

A young girl named Clara goes on a

A young girl named Clara goes on a quest to save her nutcracker, which has been kidnapped by mice. An unknown film to me. Takeo Nakamura worked on Santa Claus is Coming to Town and directed this beautiful film. The techniques utilized for the stop motion are remarkable and advanced for it's time. Sadly, he didn't direct much else. There was also this dark figure at the beginning, Ragman, whom I wished we had seen fleshed out more. Very dark for a children's film.

Etrange vision du ballet mondialement connu grâce à sa music de Tchaikovsky mais ici mlheureusement, elle reste très discrète voir absente à part certains thèmes. Un joli conte pour enfant mais sans plus, cela magré la narration de Christopher Lee.
