The credits are still rolling and this is going to take some processing. The existential heartache is acute, and visually this is among the most beautiful films I've seen. The last couple hours have been, well, an intense dream! Filmmaking (and performance too) at its absolute best.

+ dreamy: the movie jumped from one story

+ dreamy: the movie jumped from one story to another just as in dreams. + great visuals - i have no clue what the main story was about. a monster with different shapes? - the movie was way too long (160 minutes) and felt like the director couldn't decide which scenes to delete. the pacing was terrible. Wouldve given three stars if the movie was an hour shorter. there were 8 other people in the movie theater, 3 of them left within the first hour. the director knows how to visualize dreams, not how to make a movie

Absolutely stunning, gorgeous, beautiful. I'm a huge fan

Absolutely stunning, gorgeous, beautiful. I'm a huge fan of Bi Gans work. Don't come to this expecting a nice, linear narrative with a neat, happy ending. Like a David Lynch film, this work is designed to be approached like a fantasy ride, just open your mind, drink it all in and it'll all make sense without even thinking about it.
